Teen Aims for Olympics
2007 Arizona Junior
Olympic Silver Medalist
Brett Hoeppner, 15, of Cave
Creek, takes aim at a clay pigeon at the Clay Target Center in the Ben
Avery Shooting Facility in north Phoenix. Brett received a silver medal in
skeet shooting in the first ever Arizona Junior Olympic Championships held
at Tucson Trap & Skeet.
"The
international skeet training you provided during the Arizona Game & Fish
sponsored Outdoor Expo provided Brett with the fundamentals needed to
shoot this fast and challenging discipline."

Marvin: Just a quick note to say thank you for the shooting knowledge and
mental coaching you provided to the championship Clay Crusher team. We
will never forget how crazy (like a fox) we all thought you were when you
"black-taped" the sights on the kids shotguns. Even today when anyone asks
me why the black electrical tape is wrapped around the O/U barrels I tell
the person inquiring - "that is how they hold the barrels together in
Georgia!"

Bob and class
completely stunned.
Bob smokes a high
house skeet target using "Next

Sample
Point of Impact study
This particular student fired a total of ten shots.
The top circle of four shots is when the student aimed. The bottom
circle is when the student pulled the trigger when the comb of the gun
touched the students face. Without aiming the student is perfect. This
exercise shot on paper shows the impact of the wads that are nowhere
near the point of shot impact. Note that five wads are missing at
sixteen yards.
